Kurt works in finance at a global investment firm. His role is to ensure his company has a positive impact on the world through its investments. Prior to his current role, his unique skillset has allowed him to work in a range of fields including management consulting and  government. Kurt excels in his leadership role and is seen as a valuable thought partner in his industry.

Helen has ceased working and will be a stay-at-home mom so she can fully focus on her family. Prior to this, she spent her career before business school in finance and accounting, but found her true passion working as an admissions consultant for 15 years, helping hundreds of people apply to business school. Her first role in this space was at a non-profit that helped young underrepresented minorities apply to MBA programs. It was a rewarding experience that aligned with her values of education and personal growth. She found great joy in helping individuals pursue their dreams of higher education and career advancement.

Boston, our Miniature Schnauzer, plays a vital role in our lives and in the community. As a certified therapy dog, he brought comfort and joy to children in hospitals and elementary schools for 8 years. In schools, he helped children improve their reading skills and build confidence by listening to them read stories. He’s also an expert in the art of belly rubs and is always ready to trade them for a wag of his tail and a happy smile.
