We have known Kurt and Helen for over two decades and their integrity, joy for life, nurturing and care for others is unmatched. We are adoptive parents ourselves and so excited to support Kurt and Helen on this journey. They have invested in their marriage, their home, and their community to establish a foundation that will welcome and bless any child and birth family. People around the globe seek Kurt or Helen for advice and guidance -- they give it with grace, humility, kindness and care.
Helen & I met while attending a 9 month long bible study that we attended for many years together. We developed a beautiful friendship that we have maintained throughout the years. Helen she has always poured a wonderful energy into the people & relationships in her life which is a vital characteristic to help love & raise children. Helen & Kurt are an amazing team and would be wonderful parents.
Helen and I were college roommates and teammates. It has long been my feeling that Helen and Kurt would be amazing parents! Helen’s parents raised her and her three brothers in a family filled with God, love, and support. It’s usually said that we raise our kids the way we were raised. If that’s the case, a child would be blessed to have parents like Helen and Kurt because they will be raised in a happy, loving environment.
I met Helen in the 6th grade when she was the new kid in town. She was very athletic even then and we quickly became friends. My mom would pick me and Helen up from school, take us back to my house for a snack and to do homework, before taking us to tennis lessons a couple of days a week. We’ve been friends a few decades now and I’ve always known that Helen would make an amazing mom because she’s so thoughtful, funny, and full of energy. I can’t wait for her and Kurt to become the loving, fantastic parents I know they will be.
I first met Helen during business school, where her warm spirit and genuine personality quickly inspired me. Kurt and I have been friends since high school, and his commitment to family and community has always been evident. Helen's support during my journey into motherhood, including babysitting my newborn, showed her nurturing nature. She embodies her late mother's kindness and warmth, and I have no doubt she and Kurt will extend the same love and devotion to their children.
